The Restorative Hair Mask from Act + Acre is a deeply conditioning mask rich in proteins, vitamins, plant-based fatty acids, and antioxidants that restores dry and damaged hair. Many masks create the illusion of smoothness by using silicones, which form a waterproof seal around the hair to block out humidity. These seals build upon each other with continued use, weighing the hair down and making it increasingly difficult to receive moisture, creating flat and brittle hair. This silicone-free mask attracts and retains lasting hydration without residue. While it is a deeply hydrating treatment, the mask rinses off easily, leaving all hair types silky soft without added weight. Pressed Castor Oil is comprised mainly of the fatty acid ricinoleic acid, and works as an emollient, smoothing the hair shaft and making it feel softer and more hydrated. Glycerin, a natural humectant or conditioner, keeps your hair hydrated, soft and supple. It also protects your hair from harmful environmental aggressors, while improving its texture.
